being the world's only Wildlife Refuge open to the public allows visitors unique insight

Midway
was closed to most tourism in January 2002. Since that time,
the US Dept of Fish and Wildlife has been developing a plan to
reopen the island to visitation. If you are interested in

"Historically educational" seems right, too. How about
"rewarding"? Yes, that's what Midway is. Rewarding. Not too
many people take advantage of the opportunity to visit this wonderful destination.
Too bad, too. More people should take this beautiful site in... on land and under
